2.      PhDs Guided: The number of PhD students successfully guided to completion is another significant metric. This reflects the researcher's ability to mentor and develop future researchers in the field.

3.      Quality of Research: Besides quantity, the impact and quality of the research work (as evidenced by citations, awards, patents, etc.) are also considered. This indicates the researcher's influence on the academic community and industry.

4.      Contribution to the Profession: This can include participation in conferences, workshops, committees, and other activities that contribute to the advancement of the discipline and its practice.

5.      Innovation and Originality: The degree of innovation and originality in research findings is evaluated, highlighting contributions that break new ground or address significant challenges in the field.

6.      Overall Impact: The cumulative impact of all contributions in advancing the field of computer science and related disciplines.

These criteria help ensure that the award recognizes not only the volume of output but also its quality, impact, and the researcher's broader contributions to academia and the profession.
