7th CSI-InApp National Student Project Awards 2018

Dear CSI Member,
 
Greetings from CSI Trivandrum Chapter.

It gives us immense pleasure in announcing the 7th CSI-InApp National Student Project Awards 2018 competition for the best Software Application developed by B.Tech/MCA/MSc (Computer Science) students in the country.
 
The CSI - InApp Awards was established by Computer Society of India, Trivandrum Chapter with support from InApp Information Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd., with the intention to recognize and promote students who demonstrate exceptional talent in developing software applications. This is the 7th year and we are inviting student teams from your esteemed institution to participate and showcase their talents before the professional community.
 
The award is juried by veterans from IT industry and hence is an ideal platform for the students to interact and learn from the experts.  The award has a two-stage evaluation and the winners will be presented with awards in an event, during May 2018. The best two student teams will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively along with an award plaque.

Dr. DVR Vithal Memorial Coding Competition

Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter is organizing​ Dr. DVR Vithal Memorial Coding Competition in association with MVSR Engineering College & MyPower.in.

Computer Society of India is always at the forefront when it comes to encouraging students to improve their skills in the field of IT. CSI is now conducting a coding competition for students across India in memory of Dr. DVR Vithal.

The aim of this is to encourage students to improve their skills in programming so that they can become employable. It is also an opportunity for every participant to know where they stand as against thousands of students from across the Country. With ever increasing competition for IT Jobs, it would be a great reality check for the students.

Coding Competition happens in two rounds
  • Round 1 is a series of multiple choice tests on different technologies
  • Round 2 would have a task that the students need to complete using a programming language of their choice
A lot of companies have come forward to recruit students for internships. The scores of the top performers will be shared with these companies so that the students also get a chance to intern and apply their skills and knowledge to give their career a good start.
