How to write a research article to submit for publication Using LateX 26th September, 2020 (11.00am-1:00pm)

Publishing work in accredited journals is a daunting task for many academics. Although academics, students are aware of the imperative to publish, they often fail to do so due to being ill-prepared for the task (Murray et al. 2008). Often students are familiar with dissertation writing but they may not have been exposed to the “how to” of writing for publication.

Description:

The aim of this workshop, is twofold: to introduce postgraduate students to this genre of writing and to help postgraduate students prepare for writing for publication using LATEX

Content related to the following aspects will be covered:

• The publication context

• The process of publication

• Journal selection

• Joining the scholarly discourse

• Skills for the task

• Planning for publication

Instructions regarding compliance of AICTE'S Mandatory Internship Policy in current situation
.........

Dear Sir / Madam,

Greetings from All India Council for Technical Education!

In view of the current situation of Nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19, AICTE directs all its Approved Institutes to abide by all the Social Distancing guidelines and other measure promulgated by Government of India and respective State Governments.

Institutes should instruct their students, NOT to take up any Internships outside the organizations which involves travel, contact with outsiders, etc.,. However, ongoing internships, where companies are allowing students to work from home, shall continue.

Internships helps in creating conditions conducive to the quest for knowledge and its applicability in work. In order to positively engage students who are not able to get internships in current situation of lockdown,
all colleges/ institutes should give challenging problems as internship to such students which can be worked upon by them from their respective homes.

Once the situation improves, AICTE will issue further orders regarding compliance of Mandatory internships policy of AICTE. Let us Stay Safe and continue learning...

With Regards
AICTE
